IBP Australia has been representing Lamberts Linit U-Profile Profile Glass for over 15 years and are proud to showcase this versatile glass which has been used for stunning light-refracting glass facades and light filled atriums in some of Australia and the Asia Pacific’s most iconic building projects.
Lamberts Linit is made from an alkali-lime glass. It’s a special form of cast glass consisting mainly of sand, lime, soda and dolomite.These raw materials are carefully melted down in the world’s first oxygen-fired – and therefore also environmentally friendly – cast glass furnace. The glass is bent into a U profile before thoroughly cooling. It is then thermally toughened and can be processed in a variety of widths, thickness, textures and flange height in lengths up to 7 metres.
Offering a variety of finishing and coating, sandblasted or coloured options. Currently offering sandblasted, colour enameled or coated surface finishes and five texture options:
